MABE BY CHINESE ARMIES IN EASTERN PROVINCES. HOLD ON RAILWAY EXTENDING. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, Noon.) CHUNGKING, August 26. Continuing their victorious march in Chekiang Province, Chinese armies are. preparing to storm Nanchang, in Kiangsi, reports the Central News Agency. The Chinese have recaptured Tungsiang, a railroad centre 50 miles south-east of Nanchang. This is the eleventh important point in the eastern theatre regained within a week's fighting. The Japanese, with strong aerial support, have launched an attack in areas along the Tungpu Railway, just south of the Yellow River. The Chinese are making a concerted attack on the walls of Chuhsien, where there is a most important airfield, states a Chinese communique. The Chinese have already captured several strategic points around Chuhsien. The Chinese now control 165 miles of the Chekiang-Kiangsi Railway.
