RESIGNATION FROM ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Dav, 10 35 a.ra.) RUGBY, August 26. A controversy of long standing' has ended with the resignation of Dr Julian Huxley, the eminent biologist, from the secretaryship and membership of the Council of the Zoological Society, London. A difference of opinion arose some time ago, regarding the distribution of Dr Huxley’s energies between the Zoological Society and other activities. Dr Huxley, in his letter of resignation, states that he feels there is no other course open to him.
