STATEMENT FOR JULY.
Estates of a value of £735,991 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during July, 1942. The total value of the estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on March 31. 1942. was £64,685,685, and the new business for the four months ended Ja;y 31 was £2.254,249. Grants of administration made bv the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 287 for the month. During the month 1.206 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custory, and 424 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf o£ living persons is 117.170.
