Weather dull with intermittent rain developing. Temperatures cold with snow on the hills. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Continuing cold and unsettled. LOCAL REPORT. Mr N. W. Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m. today: — Barograph, 30.16; shade temperature, maximum, 57.9; minimum, 42.2; terrestrial, 29.7; sunshine, 10 hours; frost, .7 degrees. PHASES OF THE MOON. Full moon, August 26. Draw blinds at 6.15 p.m. today; raise them at 6.26 a.m. tomorrow.
