REPORTED MISSING
AIRCRAFT ’CO-OPERATING WITH HOME GUARD PILOT AND PASSENGER ABOARD. EXTENSIVE SEARCH «BEING MADE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. An aircraft bf the R.N.Z.A.F. engaged in co-operation with a Home Guard unit yesterday morning has been reported missing. The pilot was Pilot Officer Mason Irvine Elliott (wife, Mrs K. Elliott, ’ Wellington) and with him as passenger was Lieutenant Harold Francis Bollard (wife, Mrs H. F. Bollard, Wellington). An extensive search is being maintained.
