FIRST YEAR COMPLETED

“N.Z. EXPEDITIONARY FORCE TIMES.”' (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The “New Zealand Expeditionary Force Times,” published in the “Middle East and issued there to New Zealand troops, has completed its first year- of publication. Unlike a majority of newspapers, it does not wish itself a long life, its objective being to serve the New Zealand forces in the Middle East as long as that is necessary.' The main feature of the paper is New Zealand news, sent weekly from the Publicity Director's office in Wellington. Support from the National Patriotic Funds was given in the paper’s initial stages, but since the first two issues advertising revenue has been sufficient to cover publication costs. A substantial contribution by the New Zealand Government has met the cost of cable services and has supplied other news services.
