DAIRY COMPANY ANNUAL MEETING. ("Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Pirin'oa do-operative Dairy Company was held on Monday. In the absence of Mr Warren (chairman), Mr G. J. Gillis presided. The report and balance sheet were discussed. It was considered that the operations of the company during the past season had been satisfactory. Messrs Warren and Gaudin were reelected directors. The new r directorate is composed of Messrs Warren (chairman), G. J. Gillies, F. Busch, W. T. Hume, L. Bell, J. McDonald and G. J. Gaudin. Earth Tremors. Earth tremors are still being felt in this district. Pastures Benefit. The weather is now beautifully fine and already pastures are beginning to improve as the result of the warmer conditions. Dairy Season Opened. The Pirinoa Co-operative Dairy Company commenced operations for the season on Moiiday. Personal Items. Mr McCann, who was relieving at the local post office, has returned to the Upper Hutt. Mr D. S. Warren met with a painful accident recently when he was kicked on the leg by a horse. He is con-, lined to his bed. Mrs Riwai, who had been staying with her son, has returned to Christchurch. Mr J. A. McDougall has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mr and Mrs A. Baker have taken up their residence in this district.
