Flying personnel of the R.N'.Z.A.F. are now being issued with battledress of similar design to that worn by the Army. The battledress is made of the same material as the uniform worn by men of the R.N.Z.A.F. —air force blue in colour. It will not be worn off stations. The R.A.F. adopted battledress for air crews and fighter pilots 20 months ago. Some New Zealand officers returned from overseas are wearing it while serving on Dominion stations. Battledress is particularly suitable for flying operations because it is more comfortable and has greater serviceability.
