GREYTOWN
FAREWELL GATHERING PRESENTATION TO AIRMAN. (“Times-Age" Special.) Leading Aircraftman Keith Stuart, R.N.Z.A.F., was farewelled by the citizens of Greytown and presented with a fountain pen and diary. Mr A. W. (Mayor) referred to the large number of Greytown men serving with each arm of the forces and congratulated Leading Aircraftman Stuart on the step he had taken. Mr S. Shcdden spoke on behalf of the Returned Services Association, in the unavoidable absence of Miss Higginson (president) and Mr J. F. Thompson for the clubs with which the guest of honour was associated. Mrs R. Beu, on behalf of the Women’s Division of the Farmers' Union, ' presented the airman with woollen comforts. Leading Aircraftman Stuart suitably replied. Presbyterian Church. The annual congregational meeting of the Greytown Presbyterian Church will be held tomorrow night at 7.45 o’clock. The Rev. C. H. Madill will preside. TOWN HALL THRILLING ADVENTURE. Tonight at the Town Hall> will be presented, “Dr. Kildare’s Crisis,” a drama, full of thrills, with Lew Ayres. Lionel Barrymore, Laraine Day and Robert Young in the principal roles.
