EUCHRE PARTY IN AID OF PATRIOTIC FUNDS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The weekly euchre party held yesterday afternoon in aid of the patriotic funds was well attended and much enjoyed. The prize-winners were Mrs Viles and Mrs Carlyon, who handed their prizes back. Donations were received from Mrs Carlyon, Mrs O'Neale and Miss Nix. Mrs Charles was the winner of a competition held. Personal Items. Mrs D. Edwards has returned to Wellington after having paid a short visit to her mother, Mrs Tullock. Mrs C. J. Garlyon left today for New Plymouth where she will attend the marriage of her - son Mr T. C. Carlyon to Miss Irene Mahood on Saturday. COSY THEATRE “DR. KILDARE’S CRISIS.” Tomorrow night there will be presented at the Cosy Theatre the outstanding drama, “Dr. Kildare’s Crisis,” in which Lew Ayres, Lionel Barrymore, Robert Young and Laraine Day have the leading roles.
