SOUTH FEATHERSTON

SCHOOL ASSOCIATION MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the bi-monthly meeting of members of the South Featherston Home and School Association, held in the local hall, Mrs A. Clark presided over a fair attendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Wilton, Cuff, Garrett, Robertson, Graham, and Guthrie. A vote of sympathy was passed to Mrs Stan Benton, in the loss of her son overseas, and to Mrs Wakely in the loss of her daughter, members standing in silence for a few moments as a mark of respect. From a bring-and-buy stall the sum of 17s 7d was realised. Afteftioon tea was served by Mesdames Clark. Willes and Jepson.
