DAIRY INDUSTRY
MAURICEVILLE COMPANY ANNUAL MEETING YESTERDAY. DIRECTORS RE-ELECTED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Mauriceville Dairy Company was held yesterday. Mr V. K. Lemberg occupied the chair and there were 26 shareholders present. The chairman moved the .adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, and briefly reviewed the operations during the past season. Mr A. Campbell seconded the motion which, after a brief discussion, was carried. Mr A. Keith was re-appointed auditor. A dividend of 5 per cent on paid-up capital was declared. . . A proposal that the articles of association be altered reducing the number of directors from eight to six was lost after considerable discussion. The retiring directors, Messrs A. Campoell and A. V. Madsen, were re-elected. There were no other nominations. The directors were warmly thanked for their services during the year. Reference was made to the excellent work of the staff during the past season, and they were accorded a hearty vote of thanks. _ The chairman was thanked for having presided at the meeting.
