FOOD FOR STARVING PEOPLE

OTTAWA. August 4.

Three Swedish ships are loading Canadian wheat at Montreal for the starving peoples of Greece. The wheat is the gift of the Canadian Government which has undertaken to send 1,000 tons monthly through the Swedish Red Cross which is handling the shipment and delivery under agreement with the Axis Powers.
