TAXATION TO LIMIT
IN FINANCING THE WAR. FAVOURED BY AMERICAN MANUFACTURERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) NEW YORK. August 12. The executive committee of the National Association of Manufacturers has approved of a “tax to the limit ’ war financing plan calling for levies totalling 37,000 million dollars annually. The recommendations of nationwide conferences of 3000 business leaders and war manufacturers will be presented tomorrow to the Finance Committee of the Senate.
