NEW ZEALANDERS SERVING IN BRITAIN. VISITED BY MR. NASH. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, August 3. Mr Nash (New Zealand Minister in Washington), in a surprise visit to the New Zealand Forestry Unit, walked into one of the comfortable wooden huts and conversed with some of the men. He quickly found links with Kaikohe, Taumarunui and other parts of New Zealand. Members of the unit cordially welcomed Mr Nash when he addressed them during the dinner hour and expressed appreciation of their housing and other conditions. On his way to the Forestry Unit camp, Mr Nash visited Mr and Mrs Sidney Webb and discussed with them post-war reconstruction and development.
