AIRBORNE TROOPS

BATTALION TO BE TRAINED IN .CANADA. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) OTTAWA, July 27. The Defence Minister (Mr Ralston) announced in the House of Commons that a battalion of Canadian paratroops had been authorised and that training would be started soon. Instructors are leaving for the United States to observe paratroops training there. The co-op-eration of the Canadian Air Force with the paratroops is being arranged.
