METAL SHORTAGE
HAMPERING WAR PRODUCTION IN CANADA. MORE DRASTIC CIVILIAN CURTAILMENTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) OTTAWA, July 28. The Minister of Munitions (Mr Howe) has issued a warning that a metal shortage in North America is seriously imperilling Canadian war production and that for this reason new and more drastic civilian curtailments will be inevitable.
