HIGHER PAY
FOR AMERICAN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 27. The Senate passed a Bill raising the pay of 150,000 Government employees in the lower brackets. The Bill provides for a minimum pay of 1,200 dollars a year, instead of 1,020 dollars as formerly.
