MAURICEVILLE

GUESTS OF HONOUR PRESENTATIONS TO LOCAL RESIDENTS. (“Timfes-Age” Special.) On Saturday last a most enjoyable time was spent at a gathering held in the Mauriceville East School Rooms, in honour of Miss E. Wilkin and Mr B. Read, who are shortly to be married. Mr H. Myers, on behalf of those present, wished them every happiness in the future. Presentations were made to Miss Wilkins and Mr Read by Mrs Childs and Mr N. Myers on behalf of the Table Tennis Club and the Tennis Club, respectively, and also by Mr F. Pain on behalf of the School Committee. Both recipients suitably replied.

For the dancing the music was supplied by Corp. L. Forsberg and Mr Gyde.
