TE WHITI
ENJOYABLE DANCE PRESENTATION TO DEPARTING RESIDENTS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A dance was held in the Te Whiti Hall on Saturday night in aid of the local school funds, there being a very large attendance. Mr L. Pike made an excellent M.C. A dinner donated by Mrs A. E. A. Rogers was won by Mrs S. Anderson. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss I. McDonald and Mr H. Manghan. During the evening a presentation was made to Mr and Mrs J. Young, who are leaving the district. A most enjoyable gathering was brought to a conclusion by the singing of Auld Lang Syne and the- National Anthem.
