RAILWAY TRAFFIC

NAPIER EXPRESSES RUNNING VIA WAIRARAPA. On account of a slip which has blocked the railway line near Paekakariki, the expresses between Wellington and Napicv continue to run via the Wairarapa. Yesterday there was a fair amount of traffic on the Wairarapa line. Perishable goods traffic is being diverted to this route. Today the northward bound express reached Masterton about an hour late and the downward mail train was also running late.
