COURSING
NORTH ISLAND CUP. On August 1 and 2 the Wairarapa Coursing Club will control the principal New Zealand coursing event, the North Island Coursing Cup. This is virtually the New Zealand championship as there will be no Waterloo Cup run in the South Island this year. Every endeavour’ is being made to make this event a success. A shelter stand is being erected for patrons at the Akura Plumpton, while extra accommodation is being provided for owners and their dogs. Nominations have already been received from Auckland to Wellington, and this will ensure good fields and competition.
