WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT. APPROPRIATIONS BY BALLOT AND SALE. A general meeting of shareholders of the .No. 2 Workers’ Mutual Benefit Building Society was held last evening for the purpose of allocating appropriations' by ballot and sale. Mir J. A. Russell presided over a small attendance of shareholders and Miss Bennett was nominated to draw the ballot. The successful shareholder at the ballot was Mr V 7. A. Taylor, of Masterton, who was declared entitled to an appropriation of £4OO free of interest. In the No. 2 Society a sum of £4OO was sold at the upset price and a tender of £225 for £BOO was accepted in the B Group.
