ALMOST RECOVERED FROM WOUND. (By Telegraph—-Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, July 22. The New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, has announced in Australia that Lieutenant-General Freyberg, Commander of the New Zealand Forces in Egypt, has almost recovered from his recent wound and expects to resume duty immediately. He received a shell-splinter in the neck. In the last war he was wounded nine times. General Smuts offered to fly General Freyberg to South Africa to recuperate, but General Freyberg replied that he preferred to be with his unit.
