SHOPPING HOURS
NORMAL CLOSING AGAIN. The restrictions imposed by the Masterton Borough Council on shopping hours, following the earthquake, have been removed. This means that Masterton retailers will observe the usual trading hours in future and will be open on Friday evenings until 9 o’clock. Ever since the earthquake shops have been closing at 6 p.m. on Fridays. Tomorrow night will be the first late shopping night to be observed in Masterton for a month.
