COLLEGE DANCE

GATHERING IN ASSEMBLY HALL. Considering the weather conditions, there was a good attendance at the College Assembly Hall on Saturday night, when a dance was held by the College Parents’ Association. All present enjoyed themselves to excellent music played by Mrs Ashton’s orchestra. Mr V. Ashton acted as M.C. and discharged his duties in an able manner. Extras were played by Messrs H. Hood and N. Towns, and by Miss Irwin and Mr Moulten. The winners of the lucky spot competition were Miss Simpson and Mr M. Walsh. An excellent supper was provided by the ladies’ committee of the- Parents’ Association. Another dance will be held in a fortnight’s time.
