United States manoeuvres in the Pacific began at dawn this morning, it is announced from Honoluplu. They are on a big scale and will last three days. These follow the similar manoeuvres which have just been held off the coast of Britain. The aim of the manoeuvres is to determine the power of America's effective strength in the Pacific.
