LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

MEETING AT GREYTOWN.

ENJOYABLE MUSICAL PROGRAMME. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of members of the League of Mothers was held in the Parish Hall' yesterday afternoon. In the absence of Mrs A. Bull (president), Mrs A. Haigh occupied the chair. Sympathy was expressed with Mesdames Stringfellow, Richards, and Miss Hill in their illness. It was decided to send cakes to the Mission to Seamen on the last Friday in the month. Mrs R. Anker gave the thought for the month. The choir sang “I Know a Bank” and “Little Bluebird of my Heart.” Mesdames H. Farley and H. Cartel contributed a pianoforte duet, Mrs.HFarley sang “I’ll Walk Beside You” and “The Lord’s Prayer,” Mrs W. Knell read a humorous poem, and Mrs A. Johnson read a humorous sketch called “The Fire Fighter’s Act.” The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames A. Stuart, \V. Knell, R. Anker and Hay.
