BEEFLESS DAYS
PREDICTED IN AUSTRALIA INDISCRIMINATE SLAUGHTER. CONDEMNED BY QUEENSLAND MINISTER. (Special P.A. Correspondent.) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. “Australia will have many beefless days,” declares the Queensland Agriculture and Stock Minister, Mr F. W. Bulcock. The Minister said there was not the slightest doubt that Australia was galloping headlong into a beef shortage. The indiscriminate slaughter of cows and young stock normally used for breeding should be stopped immediately.
