HEAVY & SUSTAINED
ATTACKS ON ENEMY BASES IN NEW GUINEA. LONDON, July 5. Yesterday saw the largest sustained raids yet made on the enemy in New Guinea. In addition to an attack on Salamaua, five raids were made on the enemy base at Lae.
