COSY THEATRE “I WANTED WINGS.” The programme at the Cosy Theatre tonight will be headed by “I Wanted Wings,” while one nation will use its wings for pacific, purposeful pursuits, another will pitch its pilots from the skies in dive-bombing murder. Though America’s flying youth wanted wings for nobler reaions, the young men of that country may one day be forced to spread them in defence. Against this day, America now prepares. Thousands of flying cadets are beating through clouds, pouring over texts, studying navigation, analysing motors, and sighting through cannons. The story of these youths is told in “I Wanted Wings,” starring Ray Milland, William Holden, Wayne Morris and Brian Donlevy. An excellent supporting programme includes a Fox Australian Newsreel.
