The items of Estimates passed totalled £11,558,388, the largest individual item being the Working Railways Account of £10,100,421. The other classes were as follow: —Transport Department, £78,000; Marine Department, £147,500; National Service Department, £337,910; Railway Improvements and Additions to Open Lines, £30,000; Valuation Department, £33,200; . Wool Industry Account, £12,471; Internal Marketing Account, £60,369; Fruit Industry Account, £21,412; Crown Law Office, £8,572; Public Trustee Account, £350,833; Printing and Stationery Department, £377,700.
