REFUGEES FROM EUROPE
EIGHT HUNDRED ARRIVE IN U.S.A. QUESTIONED BY FEDERAL AGENTS. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) JERSEY CITY, July 1. Eight hundred refugees were held aboard the Drottningholm as Federal investigators carried out an intensive and grilling search of all passengers. The investigators are reported to be asking if the passengers heard proGerman talk aboard the ship, and also to be questioning passengers regarding conditions in European countries, and on other matters concerning the conduct of the war.
