(Bv Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (By Telegrap WASHINGTON> July p Axis submarines are taking a heavy toll of seamen as well as of ships in their warfare against Atlantic supply lines. This was revealed when the Navy Department announced the sinking of three more vessels, with a loss of G 7 lives. These ships were a med-ium-sized merchantman, with 32 dead, a small United States merchantman, with 11 dead, and a medium-sized Canadian vessel with 24 dead. The two last-mentioned ships were sunk in the Caribbean Sea. On the two previous days the Navy Department had announced sinkings i with a loss of 93 lives.
