SHIP CONSTRUCTION (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) SAN PEDRO (California), June 30. A cargo ship, the Joseph McKenna, commissioned today, broke all previous record. She was launched 57 days after the keel had been laid and fitted out in eighteen days after being launched. California yards have now completed 35 ships in an amazingly short time.
