DENTAL CLINIC
CENTRAL ROOMS EVACUATED. CHAIRS BEING ESTABLISHED AT SCHOOLS. Owing to earthquake damage it has been necessary to evacuate the Central Clinic Rooms' and arrangements are being made to establish temporary accommodation in the three main primary schools. Mr A. D. Brice. Senior Dental Officer of the Department, of Health, has visited Masterton and with the chairman of the Dental Clinic Committee, Mr E. G. Coddingtdn, he inspected the clinic and the schools. Separate chairs are to be installed at Central, Masterton West and Lansdowne schools. The ncqessary work is in hand and the scparate'clinics will resume immediately. Appreciation of the assistance extended by the school committees concerned was expressed by Mr Brice who stated that the accommodation was of necessity of a temporary nature only and that every effort would be made to have something permanent put in hand. Mr Coddington stressed the view that his executive would press for the establishment of permanent school clinics, the money for which was in hand and the work long overdue.
