OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS

GOOD WORK APPRECIATED (To the Editor.) Sir,—Please allow me an inch or two of space to voice my appreciation of the Masterton Telephone Exchange.! We are rather apt to take them for granted and, if our ringing is not answered immediately, to get worked up. During the last week, when even the strongest of us was enclined to get nervy and irritable, this section of the community has carried on with its usual civility and courtesy, connecting us up, helping all they can under most trying circumstances. —I am, etc., COUNTRY SUBSCRIBER. Mangamahoe, June 30.
