WEDDING
ROBERTSON—POINTON. The marriage of Miss Dulcie Clare Pointon, eldest daughter of Mrs E. Pointcn and the late Mr Pointon, formerly of Masterton, took place on June 20 at Miramar, Wellington, to Douglas Clarence, third son of Mrs F. Robertson and the late Mr Robertson, of Pongakawa, Te Puke, Bay of Plenty. The bride was dressed in heavy cream satin and her cream tulle veil was held in place with orange blossom. She was assisted by Miss Pamela Pointon, her sister, who acted as bridesmaid, wearing a pretty blue dress and a gold locket, the gift of the bridegroom. The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr W. Telford, who had given the bride’s mother away at her wedding. At the reception the usual toasts were honoured. Later, Mr and Mrs D. C. Robertson left for the north on their honeymoon trip, the bride wearing a pretty blue ensemble, with navy accessories. The future home of Mr and Mrs Robertson will be Pongakawa, Te Puke, Bay of Plenty.
