SALE AT FEILDING
SHEEP PRICES ADVANCE. 1 LATE RATES FOR FAT CATTLE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, June 26. Prices for fat sheep advanced by Is 6d a head at the stock sale today, with a fairly large entry. A large entry of store sheep included pens of ewes in lamb, for which there was a good inquiry. Store lambs found a ready market, but there was only a small offering. Fat cattle sold at previous rates, to 30s a 1001 b. for prime ox and heifer. The run cattle market is sensitive. While some sales were effected other pens were passed as not reaching vendors’ ideas of values. Foi’ the small offering of dairy stock the inquiry was not very keen. The range of prices is as follows: — Fat sheep: Fat wethers, prime, 31s 4d; ditto, very good, to 30s lOd; ditto, good, to 30s 7d; ditto, fair, 28s lOd; prime lambs, to 25s 4d; good lambs, 23s lOd, 24s lOd; black faces, to 24s lOd; prime ewes, to 19s Id; good ewes, from 15s 9d up; maiden ewes, 255. , Store sheep: Wether lambs, to 16s 6d; ewe lambs, to 22s 7d; breeding ewes, two-tooth, to 355; four and five-year
