TAKEN BY MR NASH & OTHERS ON WAR OUTLOOK ROOSEVELT—CHURCHILL DECISIONS. COUNTED ON TO GIVE RESULTS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, This Day. eta “President Roosevelt and Mr Churchill have reached a decision that ultimately will give us the results we want, to win the war on all fronts,” said the New Zealand (Mr W. Nash), according to a Washington Press message, after attending the special meeting of the Pacific War Council. Mr Nash also said that evidence on the situation in Egypt was better than reports suggested it might be, and added that there were things in Egypt which might make it awkward for the Germans. Most members of the Council are in- ; dined to regard the German successes in Libya as only a single incident in the war. The picture of the world situation, they said, was encouraging. M. Van Kieffens (Netherlands) said: “I have rarely attended a meeting so encouraging. I have very definite reasons for saying so.”
