NAZI THREAT

ON THE LIBYAN FRONTIER REPORTED WIDESPREAD MOVEMENTS.; R.A.F. & FLEET AIR ARM ACTIVE. LONDON, June 24. Widespread enemy movements are reported on the Libyan, frontier. Axis troops are reported to be' moving in the direction of Sidi Omar, apparently with a view to avoiding British forces at Halfaya Pass and Solium. Enemy activity is also reported at Gambut. A British motorised column has been in action with small parties of the enemy. The R.A.F. and the Fleet Air Arm are active. Malta is still being attacked by Axis planes.. Last night an enemy raid caused little damage. In the last 24 hours two bombers and three fighters have been destroyed. Several other fighters were damaged.
