SOUTH FEATHERSTON

EUCHRE AND DANCE SOLDIERS’ PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance at the soldiers’ euchre party and dance held in the South Featherston Hall on Saturday night. The music was provided by a soldiers’ orchestra. Mr C. Buck was M.C. The Monte Carlo waltzes, wore won by Mrs Alan Wilton and partner and Mrs Anderson and partner. The card winners were as follow:— Ladies: Mrs Ashworth 1, Mrs F. Burt 2. Men: Mr R. Jepsen 1. Supper was provided by a ladies’ committee. Personal Items. Mir and Mrs D. W. Burt are spending a holiday at Palmerston North. Mr D. Y. Robertson has returned home after a holiday spent at Palmerston North. Troopers R. D. Burt and I. J. Burt were home on weekend leave. Mr and Mrs R. Lewis, of South Featherston, are visiting Petone.
