LATEST OFFICIAL FORECAST FAIR TO FINE. MILD DAY TEMPERATURES. The following official weather report and forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— DISTRICT FORECAST: Moderate north-westerly winds. Some morning cloud, but weather otherwise fair to fine, with cool night but mild day temperatures. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Fair to cloudy. LOCAL REPORT. Mr N. W. Towns reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 8 a.m, today: — Barograph, 30.69; shade temperature, maximum, 52.7; minimum., 34.2; terrestrial, 27.9; rain, 9 points; frost, 2.5 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 13 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. JUNE. Full moon, June 28. Draw blinds at 5.35 p.m. today; raise them at 7.17 a.m. tomorrow.
