ROOSEVELT-CHURCHILL TALKS DISCUSSIONS WITH STAFFS. PUBLIC STATEMENT LIKELY IN NEAR FUTURE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) RUGBY, June 22. It was stated at the White House today 7 that President Roosevelt and Mr Churchill were continuing their important talks, which were proceeding very satisfactorily. They 7 are conferring with the staffs of their armed forces and with all kinds of military, naval and air. A public statement will be issued as soon as a stage has been reached in the conference which would enable this usefully to be done. Such a stage has not yet been reached, but it was indicated that a statement would be made in the near future.
