IN ANGLO-AMERICAN DISCUSSIONS JOINT STATEMENT ISSUED NO DISCLOSURE OF DETAILS. UNOFFICIAL REPORTS ONLY SURMISE. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, June 22. President Roosevelt and Mr Churchill in a joint statement issued from Washington, said that they were continuing, with the assistance of high naval, military and air experts, the series of conversations and conferences which began on Friday,- with the object in view of obtaining the earliest maximum concentration of the United Nations’ war power on the enemy. Il would not be possible to give any account of the course of the discussions and unofficial statements about the conferences could be nothing more than surmise. Complete understanding and harmony existed between all concerned in discussing the vast and grave tasks that were being dealt with.
