SEASIDE RESORT
ON THE OREGON COAST. SHELLED BY UNIDENTIFIED CRAFT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 22. A report from San Francisco says the Army authorities have announced that between six and nine shells, apparently iired from an unidentified craft offshore, landed in an area north of a seaside resort in Oregon, at 11.30 p.m. (local time) on Sunday. No damage or casualties occurred. It is believed that the shells wore from the submarine which attacked Island on the previous day. The seaside near the mouth of the Columbia River is essentially a pleasure resort and. there are no 'military installations near. Further details at present are not available.
