DR. EVATT WELCOMED HOME. THINGS LOOKING MUCH BETTER. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY. June 21. It is officially announced that the Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Evatt, has arrived back in Australia from a visit to England and America. He was welcomed by the Army Minister, Mr Forde who cordially shook him by the hand and said be had completed a very difficult job in a very able manner. “Before you left on your mission things looked black, but now they arc much better,” said Mr Forde. Dr Evatt said he had a great deal to thank the British Prime Minister for, as did Australia. Victory scorned assured because of two things;—the kinship of the British people and the comradeship of the United Nations.
