CHURCH SERVICES

The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., and at Matahiwi at 2 p.m., will be conducted by the Rt. Rev. John Davie. The service of the Baptist Church to be held in the Y.M.C.A. Hall at 11 a.m. on Sunday will be conducted by Major Dick of the Salvation Army. Sunday school will be held as usual at 10 a.m. The services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. D. McNeur (morning) and the Rt. Rev. John Davie (evening). Services will also be held at Wangaehu, Alfredton and Eketahuna. The meetings at the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday will be conducted by the Corps Officers, Major and 'Mrs Ransom. At the Methodist Church tomorrow “Youth Day” will be observed. Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. At the morning service the Rev. H. S. Kings will be the preacher. There will be an afternoon service at Mt. Bruce. The choir will visit the Hospital at 3 p.m. Major V. Dick, of Whatman Home, will conduct the afternoon service at Kuripuni when his subject will be “The Ghost House.” A service will be held by, the Church of Christ in the W.D.F.U. rooms, King Street, tomorrow morning. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church at 8 a.m. tomorrow. The Rev. H. Taepa will be the preacher at 11 a.m. At 4 p.m. the Murray Memorial Pew will be dedicated, Archdeacon Rich being the preacher. The Rev. I. C. Edwards will conduct the 4 p.m. service at Kuripuni. The usual services will be held at Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga.
