FEATHERSTON
WAR TIME SERVICE (“Times-Age” Special.) A citizens’ war time service is to be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Cosy Theatre, when the preacher will be Padre Murray. A cordial welcome is given to all to take part in the service. Soldiers Entertained. A concert party entertained a number of soldiers on Thursday evening. Tile items were warmly encored. Those who contributed to the programme were: Mr K. H. Allen (song), Mrs B. Burt (songs), Mr H. Graham (recitation), Miss Janet Allen (song), Misses Janet Allen and Joan Hunter (pianoforte duet), Miss Esma Saba (song). The members of the party were entertained at supper. COSY THEATRE “CONTRABAND.” Tonight there will be shown the thrilling drama, “Contraband,” featuring Conrad Veidt and Valerie Hobson.
