MOVING TO CHINA
STRONG FORCE OF AMERICAN BOMBERS CHUNGKING CORRESPONDENT’S REPORT. COLONEL HAYNES NAMED AS COMMANDER. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) CHUNGKING, June 18. The United Press states that United States bomber forces now stationed in India are to be shifted to China soon. The disclosure of a plan to establish strong bomber .forces in China is presaged in the announcement of appointment of Colonel Haynes as commander of the American Bomber forces in China.
